Shopping at the Straw Market

The straw market is slightly off the main street. If you are looking for handmade wood boxes and carvings or purses and other items made from woven straw, this is the place to go. Within the tightly packed aisles, you can find vendors selling t-shirts, bags, and carvings bearing the Bahamas name. Go expecting to haggle and don't go with the first stall you come to, as someone is always willing to sell you a similar item for a lower price.

Explore the island and beaches of Nassau

Nassau is the best of both worlds. Nassau is stretched along the northern coast of New Providence. The city is compact and easy to leisurely explore on foot. As you stroll the city, absorb the colonial history and allow time to look for bargains in the shops and straw markets. visit the famous Ardastra Gardens or a walk down Bay Street to the Queen's Staircase or a visit to Fort Fincastle and Fort Charlotte.

This unique excursion features a snorkeling experience for all skill levels. You will be escorted to the dock where you will board the catamaran snorkel boat. You will then cruise past the beautiful Nassau waterfront before arriving at the famous “Sea Gardens”, well known for its abundance of colorful tropical fish, as well as the best coral reefs in Nassau. All of your equipment will be included, as well as instruction and supervision, so you can have a safe, memorable experience. After you snorkel, you will then be taken to the island for your buffet lunch, beaches and more. This is the island’s most highly recommended snorkel experience. Book early, tickets are very limited. DELUXE LIMOUSINE NASSAU CITY TOUR

A stretch limousine will meet you at the pier and guide you to the various places of interest throughout the beautiful island of New Providence, the capital of the Bahamas. You will have the opportunity to see the Queen’s Staircase, walk through the dungeons of Fort Charlotte, where one of the best views of the island awaits. At the end of the tour, you will have the choice of being brought back to the ship, or being dropped off at the world famous Straw Market.
